When the buck really needs to stop!
There was a time when a Prince (er.. pauper, commoner.. your wish ) supposed that it was time to break the shackles, let go of the decency in him and show it to the world that there was something in him that nobody should mess with.
It is said that you don't even realize what you become until it is too late.
He too realized it too late that when he was just trying to portray another side of him to make everyone around him take him seriously, he became the one thing he desisted, a thing that other people desisted and resisted.
He acted out, not out of spite but out of anger at others not seeing or understanding why he was in such a state. A mental state of unease and dilemma created out a state of bliss and easiness which he never wanted but now endured to keep the world at peace from his delirious and sometimes masochistic way of thinking.
He always wondered why does one succumb to his thoughts when it is his actions that speak louder. Is it really so that actions speak louder than words or can loud words can a hole so deep that not action can bring one forth to light.
Sometimes it is becomes quintessential to look beneath the visage of a person and words to look at the complete truth. But in this super-fast world with diminishing times for personal relationships can anyone take the time needed to understand people who have that goodness in them but with time and a lot of practice (albeit in an underhanded manner, without even realizing the changes) have become something which even they admit is an eyesore that has to be weeded out of a civilized society slowly becoming a hegemony of such individuals.
This makes me think whether it is the individual is at fault here or the society, is it another of those chicken and egg dilemmas where it is difficult to figure out the cause from the effect. It certainly makes for a topic for psychoanalysis for the therapists who (even if not That much in India) might work day in day out with growing number of such individuals.
On a random thought since Robin Van Persie scored and Manchester United won, it might not be such a bleary world after all but with the win comes an injured Rooney so there is still the dark cloud amidst the silver lining.
A realization has hit me that, life is full of good and bad, half glass full and half glass empty, Batman and Bane, Krishna and Kamsa, Rama and Ravana.. It is just our choices that define us. If an individual has decided to show people that he can be grumpy it is his choice and nobody else needs to peel off the layers that he himself has put on himself. A Voldemort is just Tom Riddle addled by alphabets. Sometimes good can be tiring but bad can never be good.
